Consulting The Guards Quest Description

Consulting The Guards is the third quest in the Ashwold Cemetery Storyline. It follows directly after The Exiled Apprentice and leads to the The Handmaiden quest upon completion.

This quest concerns consulting with the Captain of the Guards in Ashwold Cemetery regarding the location of Queen Asylla's Handmaiden who had become the target of Lethes in her quest for Necromantic power.

Consulting The Guards Walkthrough

After speaking with Guard Bramden from the previous quest, backtrack to the northwest and continue onwards to the Guard's Watch through the path north of the Groundskeeper's Home, past a bridge over a river and another set of gates into the main cemetery proper.

Upon arrival, you will find the outpost under attack by Hungry Corpses and Plague Bearers. Help the guards by defeating 25 of these Undead enemies around the gates. Once complete, speak to Captain Azmir inside the camp. He will thank you for your efforts but confesses the guards are in desperate need of weapons and asks you to speak to the local smithy and collect what he's finished so far. Speak to Paulie the Blacksmith to get half the order of weapons and then return to Azmir. Speaking to him about Asylla's Handmaiden will point you towards her cottage and complete the quest. It will also begin the next quest in the storyline: The Handmaiden.
