Rift of the Elders is a Quest in Diablo Immortal. Quests refer to objectives and tasks that are tied to game progression. Rift of the Elders is one of the Main Quests in Westmarch. Main Quests drive the narrative forward and require completion in order to advance in the Main Campaign. They are done in sequential order from zone to zone and cannot be skipped.
The Challenge Rift is a mystical realm used only by the bravest adventurers to hone their skill, obtain rewards, and, of course, earn bragging rights.
Rift of the Elders Quest Information
Rift of the Elders is the third quest in the Westmarch Part 2 Storyline. It follows directly after A Walk Through Westmarch and leads to the Tools of the Trade Part 2 quest upon completion.
This is a simple quest that tasks you with checking out the Challenge Rift during your second story-related visit to Westmarch.

After speaking with Charsi by the Challenge Rift Obelisk, you are automatically given this quest. Simply inspect the Obelisk to complete the quest. You technically do not need to complete a Rift or even attempt one. You can always come back to them later.
Completing this quest immediately gives you the next one: Tools of the Trade Part 2.
