City of the Light is a Quest in Diablo Immortal. Quests refer to objectives and tasks that are tied to game progression. City of the Light is one of the Main Quests in Westmarch. Main Quests drive the narrative forward and require completion in order to advance in the Main Campaign. They are done in sequential order from zone to zone and cannot be skipped.
Lethes has been defeated and the shard is yours. Elder Cain gave you a portal scroll attuned to the city of Westmarch. Now is the time to use it.
City of the Light Quest Information
City of the Light is the first quest in the Westmarch Storyline. It follows directly after Battle for the Shard in the Ashwold Cemetery Storyline and leads to the Find Cain quest upon completion.
City of the Light is a simple transition quest that tasks you with traveling to Westmarch.

Directly after the Battle of the Shard quest in Ashwold Cemetery, inspect the glowing circle near where you fought Lethes to open a Portal to Westmarch. Enter the Portal to travel to the city.
Westmarch serves as the main city hub in Diablo Immortal and there are plenty of merchants and other services to be found in here. Players will be returning to Westmarch quite often to buy, sell and upgrade gear, trade and more. Your first story-related visit to the city will see you following a chain of rather straightforward "tour" quests where you are guided around town by NPCs and introduced to its many facilities and services. This starts as soon as you enter the city with the Find Cain quest.
