Fragments of the Past is a Quest in Diablo Immortal. Quests refer to objectives and tasks that are tied to game progression. Fragments of the Past is one of the Main Quests in Westmarch. Main Quests drive the narrative forward and require completion in order to advance in the Main Campaign. They are done in sequential order from zone to zone and cannot be skipped.

Thanks to Charsi, Deckard Cain's location has been revealed. Find his workshop to the west of the fountain in the Central Square and speak with him.

Fragments of the Past Quest Information

Fragments of the Past is the third quest in the Westmarch Part 1 Storyline. It follows directly after Find Cain and leads to the Legends of Eld quest upon completion.

This quest is the continuation of the search for Cain in Westmarch during your first story-related visit.

Fragments of the Past Walkthrough

After speaking with Charsi and finding the location of Cain's Workshop, make your way there by heading northwest from the smithy, past the fountain in Central Plaza and keeping west.

Inside the Workshop, speak with Cain who welcomes you to the city. After handing him the Worldstone Shard, he will perform a ritual to conceal it from prying eyes. Speak to him once again to learn of the location of a third shard in the Dark Wood. Before you can depart for the woods, you will need to complete a few more quests in Westmarch to not only familiarize yourself with the place and its facilities, but also to learn how to get stronger. This concludes the quest and begins the next: Legends of Eld.
