Diamond in the Rough is the seventh quest in the Westmarch Part 1 Storyline. It follows directly after Bounties Abroad and leads to the Tools of the Trade quest upon completion.

This quest introduces Jewelers and their services which involves socketing Gems into equipment and more.

Diamond in the Rough Walkthrough

After claiming your first bounty in the previous quest, Charsi will lead you to Vic, owner of the Glittering Gems and Jewelry shop near her smithy in Rakkis Square. Follow her to the shop. As you approach the fountain plaza, you will encounter a group of Brigands attacking Vic. Defeat all the enemies and help Vic up. Speak to him and he will request assistance getting to back to his shop, to which Charsi volunteers to take him. He will hand you a shipment of gems to deliver to his apprentice in his shop. Continue on to Rakkis Square to find Glittering Gems and Jewelry and speak to Seril, the Apprentice Jeweler. Choose the Quest option to deliver the gems to Seril. Vic will arrive with Charsi shortly after the conversation. Speak with Vic once more to complete the quest and begin the next one: Tools of the Trade.
