Builds in Diablo Immortal are an arrangement of a character Skills and Equipment that define a specific set of playstyle or highlight a certain natural strength of character. Builds are created by users and as such, their performance is varied, and should not be taken as a requirement or objective of the game. Each build comes with a set of recommended assets and stats that start with the selected class and are created to suit different playstyles and combat preferences. Each person will have different recommendations or preferences, so players are free to share their own builds and recommendations on this page below.

Diablo Immortal Builds

Diablo Immortal Builds will comprise of a combination of complementing elements to fit the preferred class or play style. Players must decide if they prefer ranged or melee style encounters and how to strengthen the available Skills of each Class. Based on this preference, players can choose from existing builds or attempt to create a build of their own. Take a look at each of the Class Skills to have an idea of what you may want to equip to complement your selected skills. Note that not all skills for each class will be available at the start of the game so players may need to work their way towards unlocking assets of their build.

Tips for Creating a Diablo Immortal Build:

  • Be familiar with the basics by taking a look at the New Player Help and the type of combat you will encounter by taking a look at the Combat page.
  • If stuck on the Classes selection, take a look at all their available Skills and choose according to your preferred abilities.
  • Diablo Immortal Weapons and Equipment were created to fit specific classes and may enhance certain skills which is something to consider when choosing yous et of skills.
  • If you don't like the build you've made, note that you are free to switch classes and try another build at any point of the game. It is good to experiment if you do not know which playstyle or combat style suits you yet.
  • As you approach endgame, modify your build as more items and skills are gained or unlocked.

Barbarian Frenzy Build

This is a beginner starting Barbarian build that is fit for early game. This build focuses on one of the Primary skills of the Barbarian, Frenzy. This is loosely inspired by older builds, popularized in Diablo 2 using a different set of equipment and other skills based on what is currently available in Diablo Immortal. In the current title, this skill allows Barbarians to launch a frenzied attack for x damage. Each hit increases Frenzy's attack speed by 8% for 3 seconds, stacking up to 5 times, which can be enhanced with its ultimate: Restless Demon. This build is intended to focus on the Barbarian's brute strength in melee combat. The Barbarian is known for its powerful melee attacks that can affect larger AoE around the character, clearing the way or path for himself or members of a team. Offensive Skills to consider include Furious Charge and Whirlwind which are both damaged focused attacks. These skills can be balanced with a sense of control, and supporting skills such as Ground Stomp and Leap, which are skills intended to take the Barbarian out of dire situations when needed. These skills can be complemented by the North Wind which adds additional effects to the Whirlwind skill, this can be interchanged with Sellena's Iron which can add additional damage to Leap. All other equipment and Armor were chosen to enhance the selected skills.

Crusader Shield Damage Build

The Crusader class is known for its shield and movement capabilities. They specialize in Melee combat but are also known for their wide range of skills with an AoE. This begins with the Primary Skill: Punish, which can increase your block chance upon striking an enemy. Other skills to consider are the Spinning Shield, Shield Charge, Consecration, Conjuration of Light, and Holy Banner (Recommended in a team). These skills have a combination of different focuses. Spinning Shield and Shield Charge both optimize shield-use but focus on either Controlling the arena or dealing Damage. Both skills will balance out the skill set, with Spinning Shield dealing aggressive attacks when in a good position, and charging away with Shield Charge when the Crusader is starting to be overwhelmed. The skill Consecration was chosen to balance out these skills by allowing you to hold your stance by consecrating the surrounding area while dealing damage at the same time. These three skills allow the crusader to always be in control of the arena while dealing damage at the same time. In a team setting, either Conjuration of Light or Holy Banner will provide buffs or aid to allies, providing either additional protection or increasing Critical Hit chance for a more aggressive approach depending on your preference. The equipment chosen for this build was made to increase the damage output of the crusader while maintaining a good position in combat.

Demon Hunter Shooter Build

The Demon Hunter relies mostly on Ranged and Physical attacks, showing an array of ranged and projectile skills in their kit. This build will comprise of a set of high damage skills to make the Demon Hunter almost untouchable when starting out. The selected items will be unlocked at lower levels, which is perfect for beginner Demon Hunters. Starting with the primary skill, Crossbow Shot which is readily available at level 1, you'll have a ranged attack frequently available which will allow you to shoot an arrow for x to x damage while moving at reduced speed. To add to the ranged attacks the skills, Knockback Shot, Daring Swing, Multishot, and Rain of Vengeance have been selected for this build. From this set, your offensive skills will be Multishot and Rain of Vengeance which will cover larger areas and are ideal for clearing approaching hoards of enemies. To balance your offensive skills, Knockback Shot and Daring Swing have been selected to add a sense of control to the flow. In a situation where the Demon Hunter may start to be overwhelmed and may lack a space to back up into once too many enemies have approached and breached the ideal distance for attacks, these two skills are here to take the Demon Hunter out of the overwhelmed area and either quickly reposition the character or clear a path for the Demon Hunter escape. Knockback Shot can be directly used to knock nearby enemies away, clearing a path for the Demon Hunter, if this method wasn't successful, the Demon Hunter can also use Daring Swing to quickly reposition and then continue to switch to their offensive skills. To further enhance these skills, Flamespite was be added to turn Multishot attacks into flaming arrows which inflict an additional burn effect onto enemies as well as The Hungerer which will allow the Primary skill, Crossbow Shot to pierce through enemies and pierce those behind as well. Each of the Armor and Weapon selections has also been added to further enhance or add additional effects to the chosen Skills, either stunning them, adding a status effect, or increasing damaging output to the current skills.

Diablo Immortal Monk DPS Build

This build will focus on the Monks' movement capabilities and their strength in Melee and Physical Combat. This starts with the basic Primary Skill, Fists of Thunder, which showcases the Monk's great movement and Damage combo with the ability to Teleport to a nearby enemy and unleash a rapid succession of punches that each deal damage. You can teleport again after every third hit. This is accompanied by the skills Mystic StrikeSeven-sided StrikeInner Sanctuary, and Exploding Palm. These skills were selected to take advantage of the Monk's strengths in movement and abilities to be in control of their own positioning in order to gain an advantage when facing groups of enemies and maximizing damage. This skill set includes the Mystic Strike, which is a Dash skill intended to be able to quickly reposition the Monk and deal additional damage while shifting the enemies into a better position for attack. Seven-sided Strike, is another skill that allows the Monk to dash while damaging nearby enemies. This skill can be used consecutively with the Mystic Strike while the other is in cooldown and can be enhanced with the Weapon, Dragon's Indignation which adds an additional burning effect. Inner Sanctuary benefits the whole party in the area by creating a circle of protection and reduces damage intake. Exploding Palm was added to bring an offensive skill to the set, inflicting Damage and Bleed onto affected enemies. With this set, you should be able to deal Bleed and Burn damage to incoming enemies which should put them under constant pressure and increases DPS. The selected armor were chosen to maximize the effects of the selected skills increasing charges of the Exploding Palm and increasing damage. Gems and Blood-Soaked Jade could be added to increase damage and movement speed while Unity Crystal increases damage output and decreases incoming damage.

Necromancer Beginner Build

Necromancers are known for their high damage output that is good with both AoE damage and Single Target damage and have a powerful set of basic attacks with an even more powerful ultimate ability. This is considered one of the greater ultimate abilities available in the game that can be found in their kit that accompanies their main attack, Soulfire. Hungering Soulfire enhances this ability for 12 seconds, instead of launching multiple greater bone spirits that seek out enemies and deal damage. Targets hit multiple times simultaneously take 75% cumulatively reduced damage. The following build is a low-level requirement build that works best against large hordes of enemies. Accompanying the main skill for this build are the Bone Spikes, Command Golem, Corpse Explosion, and Corpse Lance, made up of mostly control skills that would also make the necromancer a great support, setting up the arena to the party's advantage, or to ultimately use their attacks on vulnerable enemies nearby. These skills are intended to stun while dealing damage, maximizing this build's effects, and putting affected enemies in more vulnerable states and positions. Corpse Lance will then summon projectiles from corpses that impale targets and nearby enemies. Both Corpse Lance and Corpse Explosion have a very short cooldown duration, making the Necromancer an active character in battle with this build. The selected weaponsAccounting for Weakness and Baleful Trinity were chosen so that the Command Golem can now also summons a skeletal golem that consumes and gains power from all nearby corpses, and which damages all enemies in its path as it leaps, and Soulfire now bounces to X additiaonal target, but deals X% decreased damage to subsequent targets. Other armor parts now also add on to the selected skill by increasing damage or adding additional effects such as Bleed and Chill.

Wizard DPS Build

The Wizard class is well known to able to control the combat space and have the ability to manage the flow of the battle with their many unique magical abilities and ranged attacks. They specialize in magical Ranged attacks that can deal DPS to enemies in the area. This build will consist of the Magic Missile Primary ability accompanied by Ray of Frost, Scorch, Ice Crystal, and Meteor. These are all skills that are accompanied with additional status effects and apply DPS to affected enemies. Ray of Frost and Ice Crystal will inflict Chill that can stack, allowing them to control the pace of the battle and additionally, deal damage, Scorch will leave a burning trail which will also deal DPS when affected. Once unlocked, Meteor will also deal a great deal of damage upon impact and will also stun enemies in the impact area as well as burn them for additional DPS, making the wizard a very high DPS-focused fighter. These skills have been paired with Force of Harakas, and Azakalor’s Fire to increase Scorch and Magic damage output. The selected armor was chosen to further enhance by increasing the range of Scorch and Meteor skills further increasing damage output during combat.
