Runes in Diablo Immortal, can be used to craft legendary Gems. You can obtain Runes by completing Challenge Rifts, Elder Rifts, and by buying it from the Fading Ember Merchant. There are a total of 15 different runes in the game that originate from different families. On this page, you can find information about the Runes throughout the game that you can use.

Obtaining Runes in Diablo Immortal

There are three different way you can obtain Runes in Diablo Immortal:

Elder Rifts

  • You can obtain Runes by participating in Elder Rift events. But do take note that you can only be rewarded with Runes when you use Rare or Legendary Crests on your Elder Rift run. Rare Crests will get 1 random Rune, while Legendary Crests will get you 3.

Challenge Rifts

  • While you are progressing through Challenge Rifts, it can be a good source of Runes as well. The event rewards you with ATI and FA type of Runes.

Fading Embers Merchant

  • You can purchase Runes from the Fading Ember Merchant once you have a sufficient amount of Fading Embers obtained from Elder Rift. You can get Fading Embers as a reward when you run Elder Rift with Rare or Legendary Crests. So start farming Elder Rift events so you can use your Fading Embers to get Runes from the Fading Ember Merchant.

Runes in Diablo Immortal

Runes are basically used to craft Legendary Gems. These Runes can be used in crafting 2-star Legendary Gems and 3-star legendary gems. There are multiple ways to obtain Runes, and one of them being purchased from the Fading Ember Merchant. As of now, there are a total of 15 Runes in Diablo Immortal that can be retrieved or bought in multiple ways. You have 6 total 1-star Runes and 9 total 2-star Runes.

Where to use Runes in Diablo Immortal?

You can use Runes in Diablo Immortal to craft Legendary Gems. You can craft Legendary Gems by going to the Apprecntice Jeweler at Rakkis Plaza in Westmarch
