Blood Resurrection is a Quest in Diablo Immortal. Quests refer to objectives and tasks that are tied to game progression. Blood Resurrection is one of the Main Quests in Dark Wood. Main Quests drive the narrative forward and require completion in order to advance in the Main Campaign. They are done in sequential order from zone to zone and cannot be skipped.
While Flavie requests aid from the rogue battle camp, you rush towards the lair of the Blood Rose. It must be slain before the Countess can be revived.
Blood Resurrection Quest Information
Blood Resurrection is the eighth and penultimate quest in the Dark Wood Storyline. It follows directly after Tree of Inifuss and leads to the Delivering the Shards quest upon completion.
This quest involves cutting off the source of The Countess' powers by destroying the Blood Rose and then confronting her at her stronghold in the Forgotten Tower.
Blood Resurrection Objectives
- Reach the Sanguine Ruins
- Follow after the Bloodsworn
- Speak with Liene
- Head inside the Blood Rose's Lair
- Fight your way towards the Blood Rose
- Defeat the Blood Rose and attempt to exit the Lair
- Defeat the Blood Rose after it is resurrected and empowered
- Exit the Lair
- Speak with Akara
- Use the Waypoint to return to the Tree of Inifuss
- Enter the Forgotten Tower and defeat The Countess
Blood Resurrection Characters & NPCs
Blood Resurrection Walkthrough
Before you can enter the Forgotten Tower, you must first destroy the Blood Rose empowering The Countess. From the Tree of Inifuss, head directly west to reach the Sanguine Ruins. Once there, head southwest to find Liene by the Blood Rose Waypoint. She is injured and reveals the Blood Rose is drinking the blood of her sisters. After the brief conversation continue along the path to enter the Blood Rose's Lair.
Follow the linear path along the lair while fighting off Bloodsworn enemies. At the end of the path, you will find the Blood Rose boss, drinking the blood of several rogues before initiating the fight. Defeat the boss and exit the lair. Before you can do so, you will be stopped by Lakrii and a cutscene will ensue where she sacrifices herself to resurrect the Blood Rose, empowered with her blood. This begins phase 2 of this boss fight. Defeat the Blood Rose once more to receive the quest's first EXP reward and then exit the lair.
Akara will be found outside, by the Waypoint, tending to the fallen Liene who succumbed to her injuries. Speak with her and then use the Waypoint to travel back to the Tree of Inifuss. The final step of this quest involves delving into the Forgotten Tower and defeating The Countess within. The Forgotten Tower is another dungeon activity which can be completed with other players. Completing the dungeon also completes the quest, beginning the next one: Delivering the Shards.
