Gathering the Reagents is a Quest in Diablo Immortal. Quests refer to objectives and tasks that are tied to game progression. Gathering the Reagents is one of the Main Quests in Dark Wood. Main Quests drive the narrative forward and require completion in order to advance in the Main Campaign. They are done in sequential order from zone to zone and cannot be skipped.

Gathering the Reagents Quest Information
Gathering the Reagents is the fifth quest in the Dark Wood Storyline. It follows directly after The Horadric Bestiary and leads to the Between Two Evils quest upon completion.
This quest involves collecting three items required by Hemlir in order to perform a ritual that will rid the Dark Wood of the corruption.

Gathering the Reagents Walkthrough
Speaking with Hemlir at the end of the previous quest, he introduces himself properly as a druid from faraway lands. He had come from Tul Dulra to commune with the Tree of Inifuss. The tree had whispered to him about the corruption that grips the land and of a way to cleanse it. He requests your help in gathering three special reagents to perform a ritual to purge the Dark Wood of corruption: a Crimson Arach's eye, a thorn from the largest Blood Flower and a branch of the darkest wood. After the conversation, he sends you off to gather the items.
The first reagent requires you to enter the Arach's Den. Follow the road north of camp towards the Spider symbol on the map to spawn the Crimson Arach boss. Upon its defeat, inspect the glowing spot on the ground to obtain the Crimson Arach's Eye quest item.
Next, head to the northwest towards the Fetid Swamp area. Once there, clear the area of enemies and then inspect the Blood Flower. A projection of the Bloodsoaked Woman from earlier will appear and summon Priestess Vassarici to attack you. After defeating her, inspect the glowing spot on the flower to obtain the Blood Flower Thorns.
The final reagent can be found in the Fallen Village to the south. Follow the road southwest from the swamp to reach the village. Clear the area of enemies and then inspect the Bonfire in the middle. Collect the Blackened Branch from it. Head east from the village to return to the Rogue Battlecamp and speak with Hemlir to hand over the reagents so he can begin the ritual. This concludes the quest and begins the next one: Between Two Evils.
