The Exiled Apprentice is a Quest in Diablo Immortal. Quests refer to objectives and tasks that are tied to game progression. The Exiled Apprentice is one of the Main Quests in Ashwold Cemetery. Main Quests drive the narrative forward and require completion in order to advance in the Main Campaign. They are done in sequential order from zone to zone and cannot be skipped.
Another Priest of Rathma? I assume the order is getting impatient, then? I assure you, I shall detain my former student. If you wish to be of help, perhaps you should start with that guard.
The Exiled Apprentice Quest Information
The Exiled Apprentice is the second quest in the Ashwold Cemetery Storyline. It follows directly after The Risen Dead and leads to the Consulting The Guards quest upon completion.
This quest concerns your arrival to Ashwold Cemetery as you search for leads on Xul's wayward apprentice Lethes who has acquired a Worldstone Shard.
The Exiled Apprentice Objectives
- Head to the Crypt of Honored Dead
- Kill the Undead on the wooden bridge
- Talk to Xul
- Talk to Guard Bramden

The Exiled Apprentice Walkthrough
Make your way to the Crypt of Honored Dead to the east of the Groundskeeper's Home by following the road to the northeast and then turning to the southeast at the bend. Continue along the path until you reach a wooden bridge where a cutscene between Lethes and Xul will begin. After their conversation, Lethes will escape and leave behind a group of Undead to attack Xul and the guard nearby. Defeat all 7 Undead enemies which includes Skeletal Warriors and an Engraged Phantom.
Once done, speak to Xul who will continue the pursuit of his apprentice and will ask you to speak to Guard Bramden kneeling on the bridge. Bramden realizes he had just painted a target on Asylla's Handmaiden and asks you to consult with Captain Azmir at the Guard's Watch, beginning the next quest: Consulting The Guards.
