Tree of Inifuss is a Quest in Diablo Immortal. Quests refer to objectives and tasks that are tied to game progression. Tree of Inifuss is one of the Main Quests in Dark Wood. Main Quests drive the narrative forward and require completion in order to advance in the Main Campaign. They are done in sequential order from zone to zone and cannot be skipped.

Hemlir requested your presence at the Tree of Inifuss once the ember of dark magic was yours. It is time for the ritual to begin.

Tree of Inifuss is the seventh quest in the Dark Wood Storyline. It follows directly after Between Two Evils and leads to the Blood Resurrection quest upon completion.

Tree of Inifuss Walkthrough

From the Cult of Damnation's Camp, travel further northeast to find the Tree of Inifuss. You will find Hemlir surrounded by Bloodsworn enemies. Defeat them all and then speak with Hemlir. Despite his injuries, he wishes to continue with the ritual and commune with the great tree. Hand over the Ember of Dark Magic so he can begin.

You will need to protect Hemlir as he performs the ritual and more Bloodsworn appear. After defeating all enemies, you will receive some EXP and the Druidic Sash. Speak to Hemlir and he will reveal that the tree has begun communing with him and wants to be free. The ritual has caused magical scarring on the Druid's face but he wishes to continue on and acquire the tree's aid, inspite of the price. Wait for his second ritual to proceed. Something will go wrong and Hemlir will walk right up to the tree, placing his hands on it. Shortly after, Hemlir's Shadow Clone will appear nearby and begin attacking. Defeat the boss and you will receive some more EXP and the Oaken Yoke. Speak to Hemlir once more. He will reveal the source of the corruption to be emanating from a Countess in a pool of stolen blood inside the Forgotten Tower and a Blood Flower feeding the her by siphoning the life out of the Dark Wood's denizens. He implores you to find the Blood Flower and cut it down, only then can The Countess be slain and the corruption lifted. Hemlir will then disappear in a pool of blood, his fate uncertain. You will receive another reward of EXP, Gold and the Will of the Guardian.

Shortly after Flavie will arrive at the tree. Speak with her and she will reveal that Kashya has led a group of rogues to attack the Forgotten Tower. Unbeknownst to them, they are walking into a trap while the Blood Flower yet lives. Flavie will task you with heading for the flower while she communes with Akara and rallies the others. This concludes the quest and begins the next one: Blood Resurrection.
