Crusader is a playable class in Diablo Immortal, Crusaders are unbending champions of faith and law. These living fortresses use impenetrable plates and towering shields to wade through scores of foes, leaving demonic bodies smoldering in their wake. When one of these divinely empowered warriors joins battle, blazing fire and blinding light follow, smiting entire packs of enemies who dare to resist judgment. Crusader Information
The Crusader is known for the charging melee attacks accompanied by their swift speed. They have a great aet of AoE damage skill sets and have a great defense setup meant to take on all kinds of hordes of enemies and opponents. This makes the Crusader an ideal choice for those who do not want to aim, and can instead, freely use their attacks since it will affect the whole nearby radius. A fun and unique feature about the Crusader is the ability to ride on horseback while dispeling these attacks without getting interrupted. This means they can swiftly move around the map with an AoE ring around them, effectively covering and clearing large areas.
The Crusader's AoE attacks include actions that can sweep, summon beams and explosions, judgement and light attacks that all have the ability affect nearby enemies. One attack to keep in mind is the Crusader's Sweep attack and Falling Sword, which can be both enhanced by a number if weapons the Crusader can equip. The Sweep Attack can be charged and enhanced by a number of Crusader Weapons such as Longpalm, Closing Jaws, Karawan's Catch while the Falling Sword can also be modified by the Little Lance, Proof From On High, Tumult and Air Splitter which can greatly increase the effectiveness of the original skill, forcing enemies nearby to take damage or pull them towards you.
With all these AoE skills available, they especially excel as an asset to a party build, providing additional buffs to the group and adding new AoE skills to the pool affecting the area of combat and covering a large space with their steed. On their own, Crusader may lack damage output and may rely on the skills of other party members in between skill usage due to their long cooldown periods.
Although ideal for going against large numbers of basic enemies because of their AoE attacks, these skills are not ideal when going against larger powerful enemies. Their reliance on AoE skills means they don't excel as well with single targets, dealing less damage and making their attacks less effective when encountering the larger boss fights with a high HP pool, but this can be balanced with a higher power Class that excels in strength and raw damage such as the Barbarian. The Necromancer will also complement the Crusader by dealing a number of damaging attacks or stunning enemies. The Crusader will also help balance the Necromancer's lack of mobility in a team, which are some traits to consider.

Crusader Builds
Crusader Shield Damage Build
The Crusader class is known for its shield and movement capabilities. They specialize in Melee combat but are also known for their wide range of skills with an AoE. This begins with the Primary Skill: Punish, which can increase your block chance upon striking an enemy. Other skills to consider are the Spinning Shield, Shield Charge, Consecration, Conjuration of Light, and Holy Banner (Recommended in a team). These skills have a combination of different focuses. Spinning Shield and Shield Charge both optimize shield use but focus on either Controlling the arena or dealing Damage. Both skills will balance out the skill set, with Spinning Shield dealing aggressive attacks when in a good position, and charging away with Shield Charge when starting to be overwhelmed. The consecration was chosen to balance out these skills by allowing you to hold your stance by consecrating the surrounding area while dealing damage at the same time. These three skills allow the crusader to always be in control of the arena while dealing damage at the same time. In a team setting, either Conjuration of Light or Holy Damage will provide buffs or aid to allies, providing either additional protection or increasing Critical Hit chance for a more aggressive approach depending on your preference. The equipment chosen for this build was made to increase the damage output of the crusader while maintaining a good position in combat.

Crusader Lore, Notes and Tips
Crusaders in Diablo Games: "The leaders of the harmonious Zakarum religion once strove to imprison Mephisto, Lord of Hatred, beneath Travincal temple, preventing him from ever twisting the hearts of humanity again.
They failed. It was not the first time Zakarum had lapsed; 200 years prior, the cleric Akkhan noticed corruption at the heart of his faith, and sent his acolytes on a far-ranging quest to cleanse it. Akkhan’s “crusaders” were young recruits, chosen for honor and goodness, trained in weaponry and flesh-scouring magics, though their most important quality was unwavering devotion to duty.
Today, the crusaders’ focused quest for purity has broadened. Flimsy “containment” gives evil many opportunities to thrive, and wandering crusaders – often master and apprentice pairs – regularly strike down Sanctuary’s demons. Some fight out of righteousness; others in the hopes that their victories may make corrupt Zakarum whole again. When a crusader's master dies, their student takes up their weapons and their identity…and the crusade continues, even beyond death."
Crusader Strengths and Weaknesses
Crusader Strengths:
- Crusades have swift movements thanks so their war horse which is feature in some skills, and have fast movement that complimennnt their attack moves. They are also good at defending themselves from damage with the set of skills they have available which can also affect their party members giving them invulnerability for a short duration.
Crusader Weakness:
- Despite their swift movement capabilities, they are vulnerable to stuns and can be interrupted during an attack. Their war horse can also prove to be detreimental when trying to distance your character from an overwhelming battle due to the cooldown period which leaves a big window for other enemies to close distances and potentially overwhelm the character before this skill is available again. Relying on this for movement also only leave you with the ability to strike as your primary skill while it is in place, so it should be used strategically.
