Main Quests drive the narrative forward and require completion in order to advance in the Main Campaign. They are done in sequential order from zone to zone and cannot be skipped.

A Captain's Need Quest Information
A Captain's Need is the eighth quest in the Westmarch Part 2 Storyline. It follows directly after Answers in the East and leads to the To the Docks quest upon completion.
This quest involves rescuing Captain Rehm from a group of pirates harassing him so you can continue your journey to the Shassar Sea.

Leave the Tavern to check on the commotion outside. Wait for the dialogue between the Pirates to conclude and then defeat all of them and then speak to the Jacktar Brute who begs for mercy. Afterwards, speak to Captain Rehm and show him Cain's letter and then speak to him once more to complete the quest and begin the next: To the Docks.
