Call of the Ancients is a Zone Event in Diablo Immortal. Zone events are occurances that can be encountered in the different Locations and Zones of Diablo Immortal. These encounters reward players with additional drops such as equipment and Enchanted Dust when participating in an event. They can be randomly encountered or triggered by an interaction. Depending on the event, they may have a set schedule and occur regularly within the Zone.

Overview
- Monsters in the Frozen Tundra have a chance to drop Ancient Essence.
- Gathering enough Ancient Essence will summon the Ancient Spirit, who will seek out the Altar of the Forebears
- Along the Ancient Spirit's path, Spirit Hunters will attempt to consume his essence. Defeat them to recover the Ancinet Spirit's health and acquire Ancestral Relics.
- After reaching the Altar of the Forebears, speak with the Ancient Spirit to remove curses from your Ancestral Relics. As curses are lifted, you will receive abundant rewards.
- The number of curses the Ancient Spirit can remove is based on his health upon reaching the Altar of the Forebears.

Call of the Ancients Event Walkthough
Monster in the Frozen Tundra have a chance to drop Ancient Essence. Gathering enough Ancient Essence will summon the Ancient Spirit, who will seek out the Altar of the Forebears. As you wander around the Frozen Tundra, the objective menu will keep your progress on how much Essence you have collected along with how many ancestral relics you have so far. These are acquired by defeating the Ancient Spirit hunters that will try to kill the Ancient Spirit.
Kill enemies around the Tundra to gain essence until you are prompted to Navigate to the Call of the Ancients. From the wayout, you can check the map to find the location of the Spirit. Your essence tracker will not have a summons countdown until it is summon. Then, once it is animated, it will display his remaining health.
Escort the Ancient Spirit
Escort the spirit and follow it as he moves along the path, clearing any approaching enemies. As they are defeated, you will gain Ancestral relics. Keep an eye out for his health, since this will affect his removal limit later on. Follow him until he reaches the Altar of the Forebears.
Cleanse the Ancestral Relics
You will have a new countdown timer period. Approach the ancient spirit and he will remove the curse from your Ancestral Relics. There will be a limit to his removals. How many removals you have left will be displayed on the dialogue box as well as the pop up box.
Select Remove Curse to continue. In exchange, you will gain various rewards including Scrap Materials and various equipment. Scrap material can be used to upgrade your equipment.
